Drive technology

The drive technology has always been firmly associated with the name STV Electronic. The development and production of highly dynamic, electric drives is one of our most important core competencies. Our modularly designed servo drives enable high-precision single or multi-axis positioning tasks. Our drive modules are used in the CNC area – worldwide.


To control the drive modules, our interface card offers access to up to 16 axes via EtherCAT protocol.

The interface card handles the communication between the machine computer and the drive controller. This structure ensures very high performance when controlling the individual axes. In addition, the interface card is able to carry out intensive calculations autonomously and can thus relieve the machine computer.

Multi-axis drive controller

Our energy-efficient multi-axis drive controller offers very high performance and operational reliability. Special functions such as special measuring systems can be retrofitted with individual modules.

The drive controllers are characterized by maximum performance and their open motor interface. The drive controllers are set quickly and easily using our commissioning software.

Supply unit

The supply unit for our drive solutions is able to supply up to 12 axes with energy. If the energy requirement is higher, several supply units can be used.
