TV Electronic has integrated X-ray technology into its own applications for many years. X-ray technology and the use of X-ray tubes are not only important scientific tools, they also play a central role in specific industrial inspection tasks.

X-ray tubes are ideally suited to non-destructive materials testing. The use of micro focus tubes allows to achieve highly-detailed resolutions down to the micrometre range. The X-ray sources are designed so that the objects under test can be moved as closely as possible to the X-ray source, resulting in high magnifying levels.

With radiation outputs of just a few watts our tubes are typically used for thin materials, such as printed circuit boards. In this process, the system measures the layers of a printed circuit board, which is then drilled in the next step.
