I/O modules and interfaces

The I/O module extends the Smart Manager by up to 16 flexibly configurable inputs and outputs per module. It can be connected directly or remotely and communicates via RS-485. This enables up to 256 I/Os per system. Integration into your software project is via API. For a quick start in NodeRed and CoDeSys, we offer libraries and examples.

The LON-FTT- and LON-PLT modules extend the Smart Manager with fast, flexible access to LonWorks® TP/FT-10 and Powerline networks. Thanks to compact series connection via the STV mounting rail bus, combinable interfaces and simple configuration via API, they offer a modern, efficient and standard-compliant integration on a LonMark® basis.

With the internal expansion boards for M-Bus, RS-485 and KNX, the Smart Manager is flexibly expanded to meet various communication requirements. From up to 6 M-Bus loads via an additional RS-485 interface to a powerful KNX interface with up to 1,000 data points – each board offers a compact, efficient and directly integrable solution for professional building and system control.

All expansion boards are available for the Smart Manager models Lite, Basic and EVO and are installed individually and cannot be combined.
