Internal M-Bus extension – Efficient consumption data collection
The M-Bus expansion board enables convenient reading and processing of up to 6 standard loads directly on the M-Bus. It is the ideal choice for Applications related to energy and consumption data collection and offers robust, stable, and standard-compliant communication.

Internal KNX extension – The easy path to KNX integration
With the KNX extension, you can equip your devices with a powerful interface to KNX building technology in no time at all. The expansion board includes a fully integrated KNX stack and functions as a reliable serial communication channel into the KNX system. Thanks to the support of up to 1,000 data points, the module is also suitable for extensive automation solutions in which many sensor signals or control commands need to be processed. Setup is conveniently done via the ETS (Engineering Tool Software), so that the extension integrates into existing KNX structures without additional effort and can be used productively immediately.

Internal RS-485 extension – More flexibility for industrial communication
The RS-485 expansion board adds an additional serial RS-485 interface to the Smart Manager. This allows for the integration of additional Sensors, Actuators, or external modules – ideal for smart industrial and automation environments.

Compatibility & Installation
All expansion boards are available for Smart Manager Lite, Basic and EVO.
Please note: Only one expansion board can be installed per Smart Manager. A combination of several expansion boards within one device is not possible – this keeps the system clearly structured and optimally designed for performance and stability.
